Appointments:
- It is mandatory that all daycare appointments be booked 24 hours in advance with confirmation, failure to do this may result in not being able to book your dog in, or being turned away at the door for daycare. This is being requested for the safety of the dogs under our care and to provide an appropriate dog/employee ratio. To ensure you get into daycare we recommend becoming a part of our doggie daycare program and choosing specific days per week and requesting a reoccurring appointment to bring your dog, as this will always guarantee a spot for your dog, 365 days a year (excl. Christmas and New Years Day). We charge a last minute booking fee of $5.
- Bath & Brushes must be booked at least 24 hours in advance, preferably when booking the appointment or when dropping off your dog for their stay. Owners agree that any grooming appointments not booked 24hrs in advance may have to be bumped due to other priorities at the kennel.
- Any no show boarding appointments will be automatically charged an extra night (at whichever suite price they were booked into) upon their next booking.
- Last minute cancellations for boarding (only 24 hour notice) will be charged their first night at full price (of whichever suite price they were booked into) upon their next booking.
Vaccines Required and How Long They Last:
- Bordetella (kennel cough) - 1 year
- Rabies - 3 years
- DA2PPV, DHPP, DA2PP, or DHPPV (different variations) 1-3 years
D=Distemper
H=Hepatitis (or A2)
P=Parvovirus

All dogs MUST be up to date on all of these vaccinations. We require the date that the vaccines expire, not the date the vaccine was given.
Lice Information and Prevention
- If you are regularly bringing your dog to a public place, such as daycare centers and dog parks, your dog should be treated monthly for lice/fleas. This prevents the dog from catching anything.
- Adult lice grow to be about the size of a sesame seed, so around 3mm. This means they are visible to the human eye, although the eggs and younger lice may not be. When full grown they are a a yellowish or tan color.
- Transmission of lice happens through direct contact from dog to dog. Lice live out their entire lifespan on the dog, as they die within a few days if they fall off. Their lifespan is usually between 2-4 weeks.
- Signs to look out for are itching and scratching, a rough or dry matted coat, hair loss, and small wounds or infections from bites.
- Talk to your vet about lice/tick treatment and prevention.
We are implementing these new changes to:
- Ensure the health and safety of each and every dog in our care
- Ensure that we have enough staff scheduled for the amount of dogs coming in and grooming appointments booked
- Ensure clients have a better understanding of ifs, ands or buts, of the business in regards to no group play/limited group play, appointment bookings (possibly resulting in being turned away), failure to show up/cancellation charges
